How to Set Your Favourite Picture as Drive Icon for USB Drive

Tired of seeing old boring icons on your flash drive ? Now its time to try something new… so are you ready to learn Want to see your favourite picture as drive icon for USB drives whenever you insert a USB drive. We can do that, all we need is auto run file and icon file of picture you want to make it as drive icon for USB flash drive.

How to Set Your Favourite Picture as Drive Icon for USB Drive

• First of all, Open Notepad (New Text Document) and type the following code in it.

[autorun]
Label=your USB drive name
Icon=pic.ico

• Now select your favourite picture ,we have to convert it into Icon for that we are  going to use ConvertICO which converts png images to icons online freely.
• Don’t just copy and paste the above code. In “label=your USB drive name” you have to enter your USB drive name. I have entered my USB drive name in the below image and i have renamed the converted image as”pic” (“.ico” means it is an image format)
• Copy autorun.inf and pic icon file to USB drive and paste them ,unplug your USB drive and re-insert to see your favourite picture set as USB drive icon.
• From now on my USB drive will look like this.
